So you are away, from your office or home. cant sign an important document, and it needs to be done now. How do you manage this. you need a couple things a smart phone, and a PDF document signer. There are many signature solutions out there, Today i just want to concentrate on SignMyPad. I Really like SignMyPad and here are only a few reasons.
- Costs- this does have a fee(3.99), this price is relatively inexpensive, for what you can do and the freedom it gives you. There are some that are free. but they follow the freemium model where they charge you to use it once you get into it.
- Usability-although getting files into SignMyPad is not necessarily intuitive( it took me a qbout 20minutes to find out how to get into it). Once I did find out how, it was really pretty easy. All I had to do was Share the document with SignMyPad, file uploaded straight into the application. then all i had to do is sign.
- ability to sign, was easy, I just used my finger to sign and it was done. it would then let me save it as a revision
- Cloud solution- you can save it in the bigs one dropbox, gdrvie, and skydrive.
In general, I really liked this tool, not only for business but also, just for a day to do day need. It was easy, gave me the ability to sign quickly and save or email right back!
There are a couple things to mention about Electronic signatures.
- Unless you are using tools, like Docusign or Dotloop there are very few ways to verify that is your signature. Most of these programs, including SignMyPad, do not have any sort of authentication for the signature.
- If you plan on using this format a lot. I would recommend buying a tablet stylus for use. They are cheap, you can buy them at most technology stores, also on ebay for cheap.
So I am curious what other ways have you found to sign electronically.
