This discussion talked about socially creating and promoting your brand socially. When Creating and growing your brand it is very important to not only have a strategy but follow these simple tips to grow.
- Have conversations– even though this seems simple enough, most real estate agents fail on this everyday online. They are happy to share their wins(which does have value) but when you have not build any reason for them to care sharing your wins is a premature step!
- Be You – another point I see many Realtors fail with is that they do not use their voice when talking. This voice is your everyday voice. people in social channels are very good at sniffing out the unauthentic, and when they are sniffed out, they lose out! Now you may worry about losing business, you can not lose business you did not already have!
- Use Video/Pictures in your posts – If Picture is worth a Thousand words, Video must be worth a million! Both of these are great way to build your audience and grow your brand. Find or create pictures/videos that you want to represent your brand and image!
- Be on Point with your BIO – once you have built enough trust in your Branding people will want to know more about you, this is where your Bio comes in! Be on point and keep what you want your image to be(please keep in mind want you want needs to be authentic) in your bio dont be afraid to talk about personal experiences
- Experiment – Here is the tricky one, finding what works for your consumers and you will take some experimenting. experiement with your voice, what social tool you like best, when you post, how you interact, and anything you can think of. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX
